You’re fired! You’ll hear this again and again when you watch a TV show, what I’m talking about is “The Apprentice”. Our company often playplays English TV show for us to improve our Englishshows to help us to improve our English. “The Apprentice” has been playedplaying since last Monday.

I have loved it once I know how it runsI love it now that I know how it works. And I do learn some thingthings from the TV show. I just finished watching season one yesterday, the latest stuff is season six, so I guess I’ll have a lot of happy time on ittime to enjoy it!

Although I have a few overseas colleagues who speak English, I have few chance to talk with them. Thank BabelPod.com, I find a language exchange friend – 睿波. He is very stick-to-itive and knowledgeability. Talking with him is very amused!

I think that talking with a native speaker is a good way to study language. But vocabulary is the main obstacle for me to improve my English. Oh, BTW, the pronunciation. 睿波 said I can’t differentiate l and r sometime. I must remember vocabulary as many as I can, and often practice with him. Hey 睿波, of course, if you are free:)

I will try to write blog in English. I think that it’s also a good way to practice language:)

　　今天要推荐两个很 Cool！的 Podcast，说是两个，其实是由同一拨人做的，那就是学习中文的 ChinesePod.com 和学习英文的 EnglishPod.com。

　　今天刚从庄秀丽老师那里看来的，由来自爱尔兰的 Ken 和上海的 Jenny Zhu 一起制作，录音水准非常高，选题也很广泛，时长基本都控制在十几分钟之内，很适合下载到 iPod 或 MP3 中随时收听。刚才下载听了几段，觉得非常生动，尤其是讲普通话、上海话和广东话的区别的那一段，特别有趣。个人感觉其实就学习英语的角度讲，这两个站点的 MP3 都可以拿来作为学习的对象，毕竟还是英文讲得多一些。

　　前几日偶尔下载了在 WinAMP 时代一直都不怎么感兴趣的歌词插件，不过是给 foobar 用的（WinAMP 被我淘汰已经一年多了:-)），名字叫 LyricShow，支持 LRC 格式的歌词。想到硬盘里有不少英语听力资料，进而想如果把歌词换做是英文内容和中文译文的话不就可以用 foobar 来练听力了吗？！听不懂的内容就直接看“歌词”好了。

　　还好，一番查找后在 www.51lrc.com 找到了李阳 365 句的对应“歌词”，这下这个设想真正变成现实了，把歌词窗口缩小放在左下角，透明化，常居顶层，自动弹出/消失。哈哈，我想要的功能居然全都有！

　　经过一番折腾，我可以在电脑上开着 foobar 正常工作了，左下角的小透明小窗口不会影响任何事情，遇到听不懂的句子瞟一眼就可以了，哈哈！

　　到这里之后似乎就可以结束了，不过偶尔想起我的 iRiver iFP 380T 好像也是可以支持实时歌词显示的，但一直没有试过，只是在买的时候看到售货小姐演示了一下，当时很是觉得新奇，但这个 MP3 买了 2 年了我也懒得试这个功能。

　　说干就干！不停 Google，终于找到了 Lrc for iRiver V1.6a，是一个网友自己做的，可以把 LRC 格式的歌词跟 MP3 合并在一起并且转换成 iRiver 要求的 SNC 格式，爽啊！经过一番转换，上传到 MP3，播放，果然，中英文意思跟 MP3 一起同步显示了出来，哈哈，这下可以进行移动学习了！

　　看来不怎么会用到的东西如果被用在不同的领域的话是很有可能会变废为宝的哦:-)
